Gaslighted (manipulated into questioning their own reality)
Threatened self-harm or suicide to maintain control
Isolated them from friends, family, or support systems
Showed extreme jealousy, possessiveness, or controlling behavior
Verbal Abuse:
You were yelled at, screamed at, or called names.
Threats of harm were made against you, your loved ones, or pets.
You were belittled or made to feel worthless.
Demeaning jokes were made at your expense.
Sexual Abuse:
You were coerced or forced into sexual acts without consent.
Affection was withheld from you as a form of punishment or control.
You were called degrading sexual names or subjected to degrading comments.
You were pressured into unwanted sexual activities.
Intimate content of you was recorded or shared without your consent.
Financial Abuse:
Your access to money was controlled, or you were prevented from working.
You were forced to turn over your income or savings.
Debt was run up in your name without your consent.
Your spending was monitored or restricted.
Your job opportunities or education were sabotaged.
Digital Abuse:
Your phone, emails, or social media were checked without your permission.
GPS tracking or spyware was used to monitor your movements.
You were sent threatening or harassing messages online.
Your social media interactions were controlled, or you were forced to share passwords.
Stalking
Someone showed up uninvited at your work, home, or social events.
You were repeatedly called, texted, or sent unwanted messages.
Your movements were monitored, or you were followed.
Indirect threats were made to instill fear in you.
